  Very large Pub/Diner run by Greene King.Good for a cheap meal late on a Sunday afternoon when choice is limited. Understaffed for the size of the property. Staff were cheerful and helpful . 1 person behind 100 foot bar taking food orders and serving drinks/payments so ordering and bar service slow. Food delivered as ordered and no complaints. Good portion size and quality. Nobody checked back as to if we were happy with meals. They were busy closing off areas of the eatery to ease the strain on two waitresses who definitely earned their pay. Not a place to take anyone to impress. Tables are chemically cleaned between sevices but no polish. Being wooden finish . There is a sticky feel to them. Bar tiling underfoot also sticky. Put 50 pence on a dish, Staff up and this place could be 5 star. UK Breweries are too greedy.

  As part of a chain the value is reasonable. Can be busy at times. Staff helpful Some deals on menu Have now introduced a specials board Good to meet up with friends Some tables have great views. Building has some intrest (water mill, which sometimes works) Plenty of free parking although caution if you drive over the bridge to park near the building as only wide enough for 1 vehicle Outside tables available at entrance and in a space near the middle Play area for children

  We were staying in the local campsite and walked over for a bowl of chips and a drink in the beer garden at 8.30pm as it was such a lovely evening. To be told there not serving food. Not even a bag of crisps behind the bar and for my two young children to witness a drink customer swearing and kicking off. Not the family venue they advertise. The girls behind the bar doing their best but clearly under staffed. A £1 in the machine to carm the kids down and it stole two of the pounds. To go back to the bar to be reimbursed while that was going on was not worth the money. Stay well away on a evening stroll.

  Plenty of parking. An amazing view over the water. You get to see how it used to be an old mill complete with the working components.
  
  Can only rate 3 stars as when I went there, I was left waiting 45 minutes for dessert and had to check twice where it was.
  
  The staff were friendly though and I have to give them credit for their patience and positivity during the busy period. But it seemed understaffed.
  
  The food was great and you get very generous portions, too. Reasonably priced as well.
