  Coffee is usually hot, not lukewarm. I usually can't have a hot drink straight away but with this chain of Costa coffee that's not the case.
  
  The only redeeming feature is the staff were friendly and the place was clean :)

  Five staff only one till open all standing around nattering queue out the door took 35 minutes to get served. What a complete shambles take the 2min walk to find one of the many other coffee shops in town and do your self a favour.

  Have a been here for a coffee on quite a few occasions when in Northampton and this is a Costa shop that is better than others in the local area. It is clean and tidy, the staff are friendly and there is a fair selection of sweet and savoury snacks. Coffee is OK but not the best I've had. The big gripe is that service is always slow. In fact, a couple of people in the queue behind me decided not to wait and just left. The wait, although a little frustrating, is not a deal breaker if you are not in a hurry but if you want to pop in for a takeaway then this is not the place.
