Stayed at the Northampton Ibis hotel this week. It appears they have implemented some kind of money saving scheme. Staff uniforms swapped for red scruffy T-shirts containing the logo "Check in with me" is that some kind of innuendo? Struggled to find a seat at breakfast amongst the mountain of used trays of cutlery.
The hard to catch girl on check out appeared to be using her a mobile phone as the hotel computer system! Still waiting for VAT receipt that I was promised by email as they apparently no longer print them out. I would suggest if you want to book in, don't try and ring the hotel as the phones seem to be on the blink, go through expedia its quicker. However the female staff could try and smile once and awhile.
