  Consider this a 3.5 star. The menu promises more than it can deliver, in my opinion, and I found the food satisfying but nothing special. I had tortilla and fish cakes for my main course and both felt like they fell a little short. The churros and chocolate I had for my dessert were just wonderful, on the other hand, and better than I had in Barcelona! I'd definitely give this restaurant another chance, perhaps they just had a bad night.

  The tapas are quite good, if a little bit inconsistent. Portioning, in some cases, is a bit on the small side. Service is friendly and relatively consistent. Good list of mostly Spanish wines, reasonably priced. The ambience is very nice, although the music can be a little loud. Step is amenable to adjusting the sound level , if you ask. Recommended.
